Kathleen Walpole graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in European history, policy studies, and political science.  At Syracuse, Katie completed a honors capstone project about the potential effects of social media on civic engagement. Her interest in the United States government led her to intern with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Department of State, and the U.S. Department of Education.  Katie is currently pursuing the Master’s in Public Administration degree at the London School of Economics.
